A lot of people are not what you think they are at first.
At least that’s what I’m learning.
Sometimes you’ll meet someone who is really loud, domineering, awkwardly straightforward, and driven, and you’ll think: “What an arrogant dude. I’ll bet he’s really self centered.”
But he is, in actuality, very grounded, humble, and focused on others.
He just happens to be loud and obnoxious.
Then you’ll meet a guy who’s soft spoken, unassuming, and gentle.
The logic follows: “He seems like such a humble guy. He must have a great heart.”
Watch out. That guy might be a passive aggressive manipulative time bomb.
Or not.
The point certainly isn’t that all people who seem to be proud are humble, and vice versa.
The point is that you never know.
How should you apply this really obvious observation?
Start here.
