My sermon yesterday revolved around Caleb. You’ll remember that he was 1 of the only 2 spies who brought Moses a good report on the outskirts of the Promised Land.
Thank God for people who see things from the standpoint of faith, and therefore speak vitality into our lives.
There’s nothing better for the soul than a good report. A report of victory. Hope. Possibility. Determination.
I hate to lump people into over-generalized categories, but let’s do it anyway.
It seems to me that there are two kinds of people in my relational sphere:
1. Prophets of Pessimism
2. Catalysts of Courage
Caleb was surrounded by a nation of naysayers. But his Christ centered confidence could not be silenced.
Tomorrow, I’ll share more about what it takes to be a catalyst of courage.
God knows, we need more of them in the body of Christ.
