Because of facility issues at our Central campus this week, I’ve got to finish my message in 25 minutes.

Which wouldn’t be a problem for the really good preachers who have learned the fine art of precision.

Me? I ramble. It takes me 25 minutes to say good morning and introduce my topic.

And this week, God has given me a pretty complicated topic to deal with (think VT tragedy) and pages of notes about it already.

So what will I do?

Maybe I’ll talk faster.
Maybe I’ll cut the message in half.
Maybe I’ll just tell the parking lot guys to get ready for chaos.
