Steven Furtick, steven furtick, pastor steven furtick, elevation church, Elevation Church

Today was a heck of a big day… I’m too tired to be poetic, so here are the bulletpoints:

• I spoke at NewSpring this morning and tonight for each of their 743 worship services. It was the first time I’ve left Elevation on a Sunday to speak in another church, and it was only fitting that I use the occasion to step in for my main man Perry. I even rocked a new pair of boots in honor of my Anderson peeps. I love NewSpring and Perry, and I would do anything for them… they’ve done so much for us. I had a blast. I even worked in a sermon illustration about a crack smoking lesbian. But that’s beside the point.
What God is doing in Anderson is truly freakish, and you’ve got to get to their Unleash conference next year and see it for yourself. I’ll be there, with way more people than Gary. Bet.
Perry, I believe in you guys and thank you for all you’ve invested in me.
Your best days are ahead of you.

• A big shout out to all my mighty men that hung with me all day and the crew that showed up to represent tonight. I feel like the most loved and honored pastor in the world. Thank you.

• Elevation had our highest attendance ever today! Praise God!
And the best part is: I wasn’t even there!!!
(Well, video me was there preaching, but it’s very complicated… )
Don’t get me wrong, I missed my church like crazy. But it’s so comforting just 17 months into this thing to have such a capable staff and over the top volunteers that I can go take care of business and not only do things not fall apart, we have our biggest day ever.

• I am grateful to have a wife who supports me and sits on the front row to hear her man preach. It was great to have her with me this weekend.

• Preaching four services in one day is almost suicidal. Thank God for Monster Energy drinks. We have a super busy week, and I’ve got a hot message cooking for you, Elevation, on hearing from God. Be there.
