Pastor Steven Furtick

My hero of the day is Christopher Welch. Everybody calls him Topher.

He’s a good guy.

Topher runs Media Shout, or whatever software we use (Pro Presenter maybe? Hey, at least I didn’t call it Power Point!) for our worship experiences every week.
And he does a dang good job, with a wonderful attitude.

Every time I walk back there on Sunday, no matter what’s going on, what video’s not firing, what image is grainy, or whatever other major malfunction may be going down, Topher stops, and smiles, and says “Good morning, Pastor.”

And when he says that, he leads me to believe that this really is his ministry, and he’s honored to do it!

He’s been in the office a lot over the last couple weeks, Damion’s working him hard. I have no idea what he’s doing, and I don’t want to know, because it deals with computers, and all I need to know about computers is how to push on, open and send.

But I know he’s making a difference.
