“So the wall was completed on the twenty-fifth of Elul, in fifty-two days.
When all our enemies heard about this, all the surrounding nations were afraid and lost their self-confidence, because they realized that this work had been done with the help of our God.”
Nehemiah 6:15-16

Was Nehemiah all about the numbers? Is he bragging about being able to complete the construction of the wall in record time… 52 days to be exact?
Why include the details about the time frame?

Because when the work of God happens at the speed of God,
God gets all the glory.

If I ever seem hyper-focused about the speed of growth at Elevation, you’ll have to pardon me. It’s just that I want the unconvinced, unbelieving world to see what is happening in our church and realize that it’s God… because it’s so much bigger than and beyond our human ability.
And I think that’s a motivation God honors.
