How does Elevation Church celebrate Christmas? With lasers, drums lowered from the ceiling, gas explosions, the passionate worship of Jesus and one of the best gospel presentations I have ever heard by Pastor Steven. In short, it was audacious, full of energy and the name of Jesus was lifted high.
God has been so good to our church this year, and An Uptown Christmas was the perfect way to finish out 2009. With over 8,000 people in attendance in our 4 worship experiences at Belk Theater, the Holy Spirit moved in a powerful way as we saw over 390 salvation decisions. Our staff and volunteers pulled off a world-class event, and the sacrifice of their time and energy was all worth it as we saw people transformed by the power of Jesus.
