It means a lot to a pastor when he asks the people to do something for the sake of the vision… and they do it. That’s pretty much the pattern at Elevation.
When we had to turn lots of people away from our service last Sunday, I politely begged folks to switch to the 8:30am service to make room at 10:00.
I’ve learned to expect that when we ask our folks to make a move they do it…
But I still wasn’t prepared for what I saw at 8:30 Sunday. The joint was just packed.
We actually had more people at our 8:30 service than at our 10:00. Didn’t see that one coming. Now we have some seats (a few at least) to accommodate the growth God is sending at our peak service times.
We’ll be adding a 4th service at Providence by Easter Sunday, and possibly a 3rd at Butler several months from now. Exciting times.

One thing’s for sure, wherever God leads, our people have demonstrated that they will respond in faith. So I’m confident that God will continue to lead.

What’s the point of this post?
To say a public thank you to all the Elevators who are always ready to make a move to advance the Gospel.
And to encourage you to keep moving…
What an honor to pastor people who get it.
