A little inside shout for everyone who was at Cricket Sunday.
My most heartfelt thanks to the incredible Elevation staff, volunteer and paid, for pulling off an unforgettable experience. The energy, unity, and excellence in that arena made me so proud to be your pastor, and even more fired up about our future.
Many thanks also to Pastor Terrell Murphy the terrific folks at New Birth Charlotte. You’re a lot of fun to worship with. Bank of America Stadium, here we come…
I’m not even playing.
Well over 5500 folks came out, lots of people gave their lives to Christ, and it was another landmark day for me. I looked around in the middle of one of the worship songs, and I felt like God spoke to my heart the same thing that the angel spoke to Mary before the first Christmas:
Nothing is impossible with God.
Blogging may be (will be) sporadic this week in honor of Christmas, my family, and my new Xbox 360. This Guitar Hero game has got me clutched tightly in its addictive claws already.
I’ve already unlocked Slash, and I’ve only been at it for 3 hours.
Imagine how bright my future is in the Rock and Roll biz.
Additionally, the Clemson Tigers (me) have handily defeated the South Carolina Gamecocks (my brother) twice in the last 24 hours in NCAA ‘08.
Time to see if I can redeem the Carolina Panthers with a virtual winning season on Madden.
God knows it can’t get any worse.
Here’s wishing for the most meaningful celebration of the birth of Christ you’ve ever had.
Merry Christmas to all.
