Now here’s a brain buster for you:
How do you live a life that’s content, but not complacent?
In other words, what is the key to being grateful for what God has done in your life, while remaining determined to see him do more?
There’s a fine line between contentment and complacency.
Some people live stagnant and stationary lives, labeling their lackluster approach as contentment.
Others are so driven and ambitious that we’re (guess which one I am?) tempted to move on to the next mountain without even celebrating the current victory. And what started as a hunger for God can become an unhealthy addiction to motion.
So how do you strike the balance?
God knows I’ve got a long way to go, but I think it begins when I’m
totally grateful for God’s blessings today… and completely determined to move forward tomorrow.
At least that’s a start…
