Ok, sorry to do this 2 posts in a row. I’m not trying to turn this blog into a bulletin board for press clippings, but I knew that you’d all want to celebrate:

Elevation’s Bless Back Project was featured on the front page of Sunday’s Charlotte Observer! Wouldn’t it be wonderful if the Church in America only made these kinds of headlines? Lord knows, churches have been on the front page enough for scandals and protests… it’s high time that we made the evening news for generosity and impact. (By the way, the local CBS affiliate, WBTV, also ran a segment on us last night.) We never imagined our little project would draw this much attention, but it seems that when God’s people give freely, the city takes notice. May God continue to elevate Jesus through this ministry… and may we continue to be a blessing to our city. All glory to God!
