I just found out that Outreach Magazine has recognized Elevation as the
3rd Fastest Growing Church in America for 2007!!!
Why would I openly share this on my blog?
1. Because I want the people of Elevation to be inspired and humbled.
God is elevating your faith and service to a national platform… so that we can lift the Name of Jesus even higher.
I’m so proud of you… can you believe what God has done? 2 years ago, we were a 25 person launch team. Today, you are the 3rd fastest growing church in the country. That’s phenomenal. All glory to Jesus!
2. Because I want to boast in the Lord. This blog is the most public format by which I can celebrate the goodness and the sovereign favor of God. And I refuse to keep silent about the things He’s done! We know it’s all about Jesus, all because of Jesus, and when Ephesians 3:20 happens in your midst, it’s only fitting to stop and give Him all the glory.
Elevation, rejoice in the Lord today, and make your boast in Him alone. Email your friends and family and tell them the good news…God is turning our city upside down.
