The other day I completed about a 2 hour interview that will be aired at our 2 year anniversary celebration on February 10th.
For 2 straight hours (not all of it will air. Whew.) I answered question after question about what God has done in our first 2 years of ministry, and it occurred to me:
God has done in only 2 years (emphasis on God did it)
what I imagined He might do in 10 or 20.
In the South, we use the word mash in an unconventional way. Whereas someone from the Northwest may press a button, we mash the button. Or press it. It’s all the same, don’t you know?
(Northern natives, you talk weird too. Maybe even weirder than us.
Like: “You wanna go with?” Go with who? For the love of God, finish the sentence, man.)
Now that we have a working definition of the word mash, (think of mashed potatoes) here’s what I want to say:
God has mashed so many miracles into the last 2 years of our ministry that if He never did anything else, I could leave planet Earth saying:
I had a front row seat for a real live move of God.
Put another way: God has compressed so much success into these last 2 years that we have no choice but to blame the results on Him.
May God continue to mash way too many miracles and compress excessive success into a timeframe that is much too short.
That way He gets the glory.
Plus, it’s a lot of fun trying to keep up.
