Thoughts from Pastor Steven

The platinum preacher is no more…at least for a little while.
Holly has been telling me for months it was time for a change.
What better time than our very own Real Change Campaign?  Guess you could call it destiny.

Here are some pics of the process, but first, a few thoughts about drastic hair change:
(Thanks Meredith!)

1.    It’s easier to be incognito with black hair than very fake, very shiny platinum blond.  Being incognito helps me sometimes in my secret quest to take over the world.  Bonus.
2.    People are funny when they’re trying to say something to you about your new do, but they don’t really like it.  These comments range from comical to annoying.  “Look at you!”  “Your hair!”
And my personal least favorite: “So, what’s up with the hair?”
What am I supposed to say to that?  I bleached it before.  Now I’ve dyed it.  I may bleach it again one day.  Hey, watch out…I’m WILD AND CRAZY!
3.    If my wife likes it, it’s all good.  She says I look fierce.  Like a panther.  Hear me roar.  It’s nice to play for an audience of one.
