Thoughts from Pastor Steven

Today is my wife’s birthday.
A.K.A. Holly Day.

I decided to take the opportunity here to tell my woman in front of a few thousand of our closest friends what a stellar human being she is.
And that I really really need her in my life.

Without Holly:
• I would dress like a complete idiot, probably still tight rolling my jeans.
• I wouldn’t know how much difference the thread count of my sheets can make in getting a good night’s sleep.
• Those low thread count sheets would get washed maybe once a year. Maybe.
• I would still hate squash and zucchini.
• Elijah’s clothes would never match, except on accident, and he would have to survive on a steady diet of Easy Mac.
• I would have waited until I was 50 to start Elevation because no one would have been there to push my faithless behind out of the boat and tell me to go for it.

Keep rockin’ the house McG (one of my many nicknames for Holly).
Thank you for believing in me and trusting me to lead you.
I’m looking forward to the movies and a large popcorn which I’ll never finish (but hey, knowing I can get free refills comforts me, so back off… ) tonight.
