Tyler, Sean, Holly, Elijah and I were in my hometown for the last 2 days. We went to shoot some very cool video that we’ll be showing the next 2 Sundays. But Holly, Elijah and I got to spend a little time (not enough) with my parents. And I wanted to take a minute and let you all know: I have great parents.
There are at least 3 reasons.
1. They have stayed together for almost 30 years. This alone makes them heroes to me. They are two very different people and they’ve made it work. Good job guys!
2. I grew up very secure because I knew they both loved me. Of course they weren’t perfect. But I never-ever-felt unloved. They were always there.
3. They did a lot of stuff for me that I didn’t even know they did until now that I have a son and I’m doing that stuff for him. Thanks guys, sorry I didn’t recognize it at the time, but I’m sure I was a lot of work. Naw, I was an angel, right? 
I’m sure there are more reasons, but I’m blessed to have good folks, and I don’t take it for granted. They raised me right and gave me every advantage they could.
Sorry for the sentimental post. But good parents should be honored. They’re rare.
