If you’re a preacher of the Gospel, I want you to know as you head into this weekend that I love you and appreciate you.  A lot of preachers have a hard time listening to other preachers without picking their messages apart.  Not me.
I’m sure I’m highly judgmental in other ways, but I’m probably one of the most gracious consumers of sermons that you’ll ever come across.  I’ve rarely met a sermon or style that I didn’t like.

If you sweat and yell while you preach, I’m inspired by your passion.
If you’re quiet and measured in your words, I admire your restraint.
If your sermons are heady and historically informative, I envy your ability to convey rich content.
If your sermons are simple and application oriented, I appreciate your commitment to move people to action and your discipline to focus.

Thank you for preaching the Word of God.  I hope I get to hear one of your messages sometime soon.
As long as you’re proclaiming Christ and teaching the Scriptures, you’ll have a fan and friend in Charlotte, NC.
