Holly reminded me the other night:
“Whatever you do, you simply cannot have a moral failure.  There’s too much at stake, too many people are counting on you, and God has given you too many wise voices speaking into your life for you to blow it.”
(This may not be an exact quote.  I’m sure she said it better than that.)

In short, God has too much invested in me for me to flame out, to fizzle, to waver, to implode.  To him whom much is given, much is required.
And God has been really good to me.  He’s expecting a good return.

It was a good, solemn, inspiring reminder.
By the grace of God, I want God’s investments to pay long-term dividends through my life.
